First Day of the Green Corn Ceremony

First Day of the Green Corn, all the people give part of what they have raised to the center of the Longhouse. During the day there will be many Ceremonies and songs and dances. Babies will be given an Indian name so the Maker will know what to call them. The food will be blessed and given out to the participants. A beef is butchered also and bread is handed out.
